This chart of the Arroyo Seco stream gauge in the mountains above JPL shows how painfully dry the stream has been lately. The blue line is the current flow, well below one cubic foot per second. The golden triangles show the 100 year average for this time of year, more than seven times the current level. Even this morning's rainfall was just a small blip. |
